Smoke Eater Gear wants customers to receive the right product and have a fair, straightforward experience. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, damaged items, incorrect orders, and guarantee claims are handled.

Return Window

Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the product must be:

  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • In original condition
  • Returned with all included parts or packaging, if applicable
  • Approved by Smoke Eater Gear before being shipped back

Used or installed laces are not eligible for a standard return. Once laces have been used, they fall under the Lifetime Guarantee if there is a covered product failure.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for eligible unused products.

Common exchange reasons include:

  • Wrong length ordered
  • Wrong color ordered
  • Wrong aglet option ordered
  • Customer selected the wrong product line

Customers are responsible for return shipping on exchanges unless Smoke Eater Gear made the error.

Custom Length Orders

Custom-length lace orders are made for a specific customer request.

Custom-length products are not eligible for return or exchange unless:

  • Smoke Eater Gear made an error, or
  • The product arrives defective

Measure carefully before ordering. Custom means custom. No mystery there.

Incorrect Orders

If Smoke Eater Gear ships the wrong product, contact us as soon as possible.

  • Photos of the item received
  • Description of the issue

If the error is confirmed, Smoke Eater Gear will make it right by replacing the incorrect item or providing another appropriate resolution.

Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, contact Smoke Eater Gear as soon as possible.

  • Photos of the damaged package
  • Photos of the damaged product
  • A short explanation of the issue

Damage caused during shipping will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Products damaged by customer use
  • Products altered or modified after delivery
  • Clearance or final-sale items, if marked as such
  • Apparel or accessories that have been worn, washed, damaged, or altered

Lifetime Guarantee Claims

The Smoke Eater Gear Lifetime Guarantee is separate from standard returns and exchanges.

Eligible lace products may be covered if they fail under normal use. Guarantee claims require review and approval.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.

Shipping charges are not refundable unless Smoke Eater Gear made an error or determines otherwise.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a confirmed Smoke Eater Gear error.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Smoke Eater Gear is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.
