What if I’m between recommended sizes?

Can I order custom lengths?

Are your laces made in the USA?

Why don’t generic lace charts work?
Most generic charts only consider eyelet count. They often ignore boot height, speed hooks, shaft design, lace pattern, and real-world lacing methods.
Why does Smoke Eater Gear recommend longer laces than other charts?
Many work, logging, firefighting, tactical, and rescue boots require additional lace length due to taller shafts, larger eyelets, speed hooks, and advanced lacing methods.
Where should I start if I do not know my boot lace size?

What is not covered?
Loss, theft, intentional damage, improper use, cosmetic wear, burns, chemical exposure, cuts from sharp objects, pet damage, and other excluded conditions are not covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.
How do I submit a claim?

How is eligibility verified?
Eligibility is verified before discount access is approved. Smoke Eater Gear is working toward automated verification. Until that option is active, eligible customers may request manual verification.

Common qualifying professions include firefighters, EMS professionals, paramedics, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, corrections officers, military personnel, veterans, Civil Air Patrol members, search and rescue personnel, and other approved public safety personnel.

Do you offer department or agency purchasing?

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
How long does shipping take?
Most standard orders are processed within the time stated in our Shipping Policy. Shipping time begins after the order is handed off to the carrier.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Eligible unused products may be returned or exchanged according to our Returns & Exchanges Policy. Used or installed laces are not eligible for standard return, but may qualify under the Lifetime Guarantee if there is a covered product failure.
Are custom lengths returnable?
Custom-length products are not eligible for return or exchange unless Smoke Eater Gear made an error or the product arrives defective.
